Immigration Law and Fmily Law Attorney in Kentucky
A Russian native, Larisa Schneider is very grateful for the opportunity to have served legal needs of people in two very different countries, Russia and the United States.
Larisa graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State University where she earned her master’s degree in law. From 1994 to 1998, she worked as an advocate in the Moscow Regional College of Advocates in Moscow, Russia. She represented clients in civil and criminal cases and also served as a public defender representing clients charged with capital offenses.
In 1997, Larisa was invited to the USA to attend a seminar in Kentucky. She met her husband, who is also an attorney, at the seminar. Her dream to be able to continue practicing law came true when she graduated from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2005.
She has been practicing in Kentucky for over 9 years and, in 2014, was admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio. Presently, she specializes in immigration law, criminal defense, and family law.
As a former conflict public defender handling hundreds of criminal cases from 2008 to 2012, she has the knowledge and experience necessary to defend those who face criminal charges. Larisa enjoys representing clients in family law matters. Finally, immigration law is another area that Larisa feels is a natural fit for her considering her background as an immigrant and affinity with her clients.
